Now moving on to our next chapter.....
Our newest Godsword was brought to my attention by my friend, Farrah. When I read the words, God used it to speak straight to my heart, a heart that is often weary, and I thought it would be a good one to have tucked away for a moment (or twenty moments) of weariness. I pray it ministers to you too.
He has to be my Strength, it's when He's not that I become so weary. It's when He's not that my flesh fails me. I spend so much time wrestling at the "end of myself", most often on Friday afternoons, when I have just had ENOUGH, and I never get past that place - the end of me - onto the beginning of Him. That's where I gotta be to survive. That's all there is to it.My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Psalms 73:26
Don't forget to post a comment if you haven't yet with Hosea 10:12, and as soon as you "get" this one, be sure to share that with us too! I know that some of you can't post comments from where you are, so shoot me an email, that will be just dandy.
EHHEMM (yes, that is me clearing my throat) There are a few of you I haven't heard from in a verse or two!
Don't make me call any names......

Sow for yourselves righteousness reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground for it is the time to seek the Lord that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.
ReplyDeleteI love the thoughts of being rained righteousness. Thats cool to think about.
