Hello, my bloggy peeps!
Are you all familiar with the story of Mary and Martha? If you aren't, I encourage you to take a peek at it.
Luke 10:42
but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.
I want that verse to be said of me.
And, lately, unfortunately, it can't.
I have to tell you something that is very difficult for me to say. I love writing for you. I love posting words of encouragement and giving you challenges from the scripture God has been using to teach me; but, there have been too many Martha moments and not enough Mary moments in my life lately.
So, I am going to take a break and spend some time sitting at His feet. There are lots of things I need to seek Him about, and hope you will understand.
As I sit at His feet, I encourage you to do the same. There is no better place to be. What we learn at His feet will NOT be taken away from us.

ReplyDeleteThis is one of those sad and glad posts...I admire you very much for making this choice, but I selfishly will miss your posts and challenges. I know this season will profit beyond words. You're loved!!!
ReplyDeleteDear Amy, I know your time is well spent, I just want to remind you that you are missed, you are loved, and you are being remembered in prayers. In your honor and for His glory, I have been working on memorizing my next Godsword. It is from Deuteronomy 33:27 -
ReplyDeleteGod is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.
While at His feet, take shelter from His everlasting arms and latch on to the power in His name. I know He has something great for you.
